Perú
Peru has 127 hummingbirds in its three regions: Coast, highlands, and jungle. Fourteen of them are endemic and 16 are of restricted distribution. The biggest hummingbird of the world, the Giant Hummingbird, flyes in the coastal areas of Peru, Ecuador, Bolivia and Chile and weighs only 24 grams.
